Jayme is an environmentalist at heart and strong advocate for sustainability and sustainable living. Passionate about the promotion of green philosophy, Jayme strives to further sustainability within diverse industries, local businesses, community groups, and with individuals. She also remains steadfast in her commitment to safety, quality craftsmanship, energy efficiency, health and durability in all facets of her work.
Jayme has extensive experience in sustainable construction and enjoys seeing an undeveloped site become a usable, durable, sustainable community icon. Through her construction experience, Jayme has had the opportunity to work with award winning non-profit programs and for-profit companies and on some of the most sustainable, national award winning residential homes in Washington State, including The Urban Lodge in the 2007 Street of Dreams and The Built Green Home at Suncadia.
Working to bring sustainability into the mainstream, Jayme works with many prominent boards of directors and committee teams within the safety and construction industries in an advisor and leadership role. Jayme also dedicates her time to speaking engagements and working closely with community members on special projects which further promote sustainability. Jayme’s passion for green practices even finds its way into her volunteer activities, including her time with the Seattle Mountaineers through her commitment to educating new members about the proper way to respect the environment and reduce their negative impact to the outdoor trail systems.
Jayme is a certified Sustainable Building Advisor and a certified LEED Green Associate. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from the University of Washington and has worked in the sustainable construction, sustainability consulting, and the commercial real estate industries.
